SEMELI WINES are produced on a small family estate in northern Attica, (in the foothills of Pendeli mountain). The wines are named after SEMELI who according to Greek mythology was the mother of Dionyssus- god of wine. The wines are produced in limited quantities and have received international recognition, winning in 15 years 1985/2000 more than 31 awards among with the highest GOLD LAURENT CHATEAU SEMELI 1992 (Double Gold), The Gold Medal & National Champion of USA Chateau Semeli 1993 and many more gold, silver & bronze medals from Vinexpo Bordeaux, International Wine Challenge, London & Concours Mondial, Brussels. |

SPIROPOULOS
WINES Organically grown grapes. The wines produced
from the famous Moschofilero grape cultivated at Mantinia area (near to
Tripolis/Greece) among the other varieties as mauvroudi, agiorgitiko,
lagorthi, merlot, cabernet, chardonnay and sauv. blanc. All
Spiropoulos wines are produced under the implementation of the
organically grown cultivations commences, according to EEC Directive
2092/1 (Euro Common Mkt). One of the wine the Mantinia RESERVE
received 90 score from the WINE & SPIRIT, Aug. 99 and the ODE PANOS
a sparkling brut wine, excellent comments by CRISTIES (millenium
Champagne & Sparkling Wines 1999 - wine guide). |
